【摘要】:Thisdocumentappliestoportablepumpsusingfire-fightingcentrifugalpumpsasdefinedinEN1028,drivenbyaninternalcombustionengineandnotintendedtobepermanentlyinstalledinfire-fightingandrescueservicevehiclesandnotintendedforprolongedunattendedoperation.NOTE1Ifuseoftheportablepumpisforeseenforprolongedunattendedoperation,thisshouldbeagreedbetweenthepurchaserandthemanufacturerorthemanufacturer‘sauthorizedrepresentativeatthetimeofordering.Inthiscaseanadditionalriskanalysisshouldbecarriedout.Thisdocumentdealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoportablefirefightingpumpsasdescribedabove,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).Itaddressesthedesign,settingup,andoperationoftheportablepump.Thisdocumentalsospecifiesperformancerequirementsforportablepumpsinitsscope.Thisdocumentappliestoportablepumpsusedinambienttemperaturesbetween–15°Cand+35°C.NOTE2Additionalmeasuresmaybenecessaryforambienttemperaturesbeyondthelimits–15°Cand+35°CThisdocumentdoesnotcovertheeffectonperformanceofwaterinlettemperaturesabove+20°C.Thisdocumentdoesnotcontainanyrequirementsforinletandoutletconnectioncouplings.NOTE3Forinletandoutletconnectioncouplingsnationalregulationsapply.Thedesignshouldbeagreedatthetimeoforderingbetweenpurchaserandthemanufacturerormanufacturer‘sauthorizedrepresentative.Thisdocumentdoesnotcontainspecificrequirementsforthedrivingenginebutdealswiththehazardsrelatedtotheinterfacebetweenengineandpump.Whileproducingthisdocumentitwasassumedthat:?onlytrainedpersonsoperateandmaintainthemachine;?componentsarekeptingoodrepairandworkingorder,sothattherequiredcharacteristicsaremaintained.Thenoisetestcodeconsideredinthisdocument(seeAnnexE)willallowexperienceinthemeasurementofnoiseemissiontobegainedwithaviewtofuturerevisions.ThisdocumentdoesnotapplytoportablepumpsthataremanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationbyCENofthisdocument.
