【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatestheabilityofcoatedfabricstowithstandaprescribedbendatanestablishedlowtemperature.Fabricscoatedwithpolymericmaterialsareusedinmanyapplicationsrequiringlowtemperatureflexing.Dataobtainedusingthistestmethodmaybeusedtopredictin-usebehavioronlyinapplicationsinwhichtheconditionsofdeformationaresimilartothosespecifiedinthistestmethod.Thistestmethodhasbeenfoundusefulforspecificationpurposesbutdoesnotnecessarilyindicatethelowesttemperatureatwhichthematerialmaybeused.1.1Fabricscoatedwithrubberorrubber-likematerialsdisplayincreasedstiffeningwhenexposedtodecreasingambienttemperatures.Thistestmethoddescribesasimplepass/failprocedurewherebymaterialflexibilityataspecifiedlowtemperaturecanbedetermined.Failureisindicativeofunacceptabilityofthecoatedfabricforuseatthattemperature.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly./p>Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatementsee8.1.
