【摘要】:Thistestmethodisameasureofthesolubilityofasphaltintrichloroethylene.Theportionthatissolubleintrichloroethylenerepresentstheactivecementingconstituents.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedegreeofsolubilityintrichloroethyleneofasphaltmaterialshavinglittleornomineralmatter.Note18212;Useofcarbondisulfide,carbontetrachloride,andbenzenehasbeendiscontinuedinthismethodbecauseofthesafetyhazardsinvolved.Thismethodisnotapplicabletotarsandtheirdistillationresiduesorhighlycrackedpetroleumproducts.Formethodscoveringtars,pitches,andotherhighlycrackedpetroleumproducts,andtheuseofothersolvents,seeTestMethodsD4,D2318,andD2764.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionstatementsaregiveninSection7.
