【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsfordeterminingthedeteriorationofplasticsduetotheactionoffungiandbacteriaandsoilmicroorganisms.Theaimisnottodeterminethebiodegradabilityofplastics.Thetypeandextentofdeteriorationmaybedeterminedbya)visualexaminationand/orb)changesinmassand/orc)changesinotherphysicalproperties.Thetestsareapplicabletoallarticlesmadeofplasticthathaveanevensurfaceandthatcanthusbeeasilycleaned.Theexceptionsareporousmaterials,suchasplasticfoams.ThisInternationalStandardusesthesametestfungiasIEC68-2-10.TheIECmethod,whichusesso-called"assembledspecimens",callsforinoculationofthespecimenswithasporesuspension,incubationoftheinoculatedspecimensandassessmentofthefungalgrowthaswellasanyphysicalattackonthespecimens.Thevolumeoftestingandtheteststrainsusedwilldependontheapplicationenvisagedfortheplastic.Theseparametersshouldthereforebeagreeduponbeforethetestsandshouldbestatedinthetestreport.
