【摘要】:WhenusedtogetherwithEN50290andEN50289,thisEuropeanStandardcoverscablesforinstrumentation,inter-connectionofequipmentandinformationtechnologycablingapplications.Cablesforinformationtechnologycablingsystems,coveredbythisstandardaresuitableforuseindigitalandanaloguedatasystemsmeetingtherequirements,forexample,ofEN50090-2-1,EN50090-3-1,EN50098-1,EN50098-2andEN50173.Instrumentationcablescoveredbythisstandardaresuitableforconnectinginstrumentsandcontrolsystemsforanalogueordigitalsignaltransmission.Unlessotherwisespecified,allcablescoveredbythisstandardmaybesubjectedtovoltagesgreaterthan50Va.cor75Vd.c.butnotmorethan300Va.c.or450Vd.c.andshallmeettheessentialrequirementsofthelowvoltagedirective.Duetocurrentlimitationrelatedtotheconductorcrosssectionalarea,theyarenotintendedfordirectconnectiontomainselectricitysupply.Themaximumcurrentratingperconductorislessthanorequalto175mAunlessotherwisespecifiedintherelevantsectionalspecification.Cablingelementsasdefinedin4.3ofthisstandardmaybeincorporatedinhybridconstructioncablestogetherwithcoaxialoropticalfibrecablingelements.
