MIL-STD-1798 (NOTICE 2), DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE STANDARD PRACTICE: MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUBSYSTEMS INTEGRITY PROGRAM (19 DEC 1997) [S/S BY MIL-HDBK-1798]., MIL-STD-1798, dated 24 March 1993, is hereby canceled. However, the technical information and thelessons learned from this standard have been preserved in MIL-HDBK-1798. MIL-HDBK-1798 is forguidance only and should not be cited as a requirement, but information in the handbook may be useful indetermining or evaluating requirements.
